SATTU ENERGY BOMBS –CAN BE MADE AT HOME

Here, I come up with another sweet and nutritious snacks in a smart way, which can satisfy the craving for sugar by not consuming additive sugar but natural sugar.

SATTU is the hero of today’s recipe. It is a roasted Bengal gram flour and is famous in Jharkhand, Bihar, Punjab, Uttarakhand and UP. It helps in weight loss, start consuming Sattu on an empty stomach, reduces bloating and burns calories effectively.

Ingredients:-

  • Sattu-1 cup

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Soft dates-1/2 cup

 

 

 

 

  • Peanut butter(pure if possible)-2 tbsp.

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Dry desiccated coconut-1/2cup

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cold pressed virgin coconut oil

 

 

 

 

 

PROCEDURE STEP BY STEP:-

  1. Add all the ingredients including Sattu, desiccated coconut, peanut butter, de-seeded dates in a grinder.
  2. Grind it on high speed until it is mixed well.
  3. Once grinded, transfer it into a bowl.
  4. Crush and bind it with the help of your hands. Take small portions, roll them in between your palms.
  5. In the same way, you can prepare the other energy balls.

  • Sattu is an amazing source of iron, sodium, fiber and protein.
  • Dates are enriched with goodness of antioxidants, potassium, manganese and copper.
  • Desiccated coconut is rich in iron, selenium and various antioxidants.

  • It also aids to lower bad cholesterol levels, promotes good vessel functioning.
