ONE POWERFUL BEVERAGE END OF DAY IN WINTER


Winter is again hitting back and making us shiver in morning and at night sessions. We want to keep ourselves cosy this time but mornings are usually busy and in general we eat healthy things a lot, but forget to drink which uplifts our mind and sooths our body.

My friends who are in between weight loss journey and want to have good digestive system, try this drink according to body suitability and see quick results. Keep balanced diet and exercise routine in mind, this drink speeds up weight loss sessions.

I am sharing night drink or shot of tea which makes your skin glowing, keep active, energetic for next day and make your weight loss trip on right track.

CINNAMON TEA OR BEVERAGE:

If you feel bloated or heavier most of your day, this is surely going to help you at the end of day.

A key to weight loss journey is to have good digestive system.

It is easy to make with 2 simple kitchen ingredients and after knowing its numerous health benefits, you are surely going to adopt this magic trick in your daily life schedule.

Cinnamon stick or powder

INGREDIENTS: –

1) Cinnamon stick

2) Boiling water

3) Honey

Cinnamon water

PROCESS: –

  • Take 1 glass of water in a pan and heat it.
  • Add half of cinnamon stick and boil it.
  • Make sure that water changes to reddish brown colour.
  • Strain it and have it without sugar.
  • Cinnamon tea is ready and sip it half an hour before going to bed.

Benefits of whole cinnamon stick is totally same if taken in powder form.

 Cinnamon water: –
  • Take 1 glass of boiled water
  • Add 1 teaspoon of dalchini(cinnamon) powder and mix all together.
  • Drink it warm.

  • It helps to fight against bacterial and fungal infections. It aids to cure sore throat, cold, and lung congestion problems.
  • It is known to treat indigestion during stomach discomfort as it contains catechin (a type of anti-oxidant), and combine with honey in night to get its best results.
  • It is good for diabetic persons as it balances blood sugar level and its natural healthy sweet taste helps to satisfy sugar cravings.
  • It helps to keep oral health on right track by anti-bacterial properties and keep gum disease, tooth decay problems at bay.
  • It helps to accelerate metabolism and this tea is very low in calories and works at double speed in weight loss during night time.
  • It helps to lower cholesterol by targeting LDL (low density lipoprotein) and prevents from heart conditions.
  • It helps to reduce cramps and pain during menstruation because of anti-fungal properties.

Other uses: –

Cinnamon -mask for face:

If you are fed up of acne and pimples on your face try to apply pinch of cinnamon mixed with honey to get paste form.
Apply on your face, neck and leave it for 5-7 minutes.  It makes our skin glowing Rinse with warm water and get ready for any small occasions.

For hair loss: – 

Add cinnamon powder in olive oil and apply on hair roots twice a week to get effective results.

If PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) is your concern: –

Add cinnamon powder or its stick in a glass of boiling water +1 spoon honey few drops of lemon and drink on an empty stomach in early morning.

Others:

  1. Soaked fenugreek (methi seeds) water
  2. Chamomile tea
  3. Aloe vera juice
  4. Turmeric milk

I came across with some dear friends while chatting that they complaint of improper sleep and spend whole night turning in the bed and it effect their office working due to lack of focus as they feel drowsy during working hours.

 TIP OF BLOG: –

Try to make habit of chewing half of cinnamon stick after your lunch and it helps in digestion. It has sweet and spicy contrasting flavour which is quite palatable.

So, I want to give them a type of drink or tea which is easy to prepared and helps them to be in bed with deep sleep.

My goal is to make aware of simple yet powerful spices available at your home, so why not to take its benefits and try to adopt cinnamon tea in your night time and share your feedback once you start consuming it.
