Everyone is desire to have glowing and healthy skin that looks fresh and give positive vibes to every one of your beloved ones. And its right time to start our self-care regimen by using kitchen spices and making face toner, scrub, pack and to doubles our beauty.

Face mask is also one of important accessory part in our wardrobe now a days. But its continuous use makes our skin more prone to acne, blemishes, irritation etc.
So, I am trying to tell you few tips using mask to protect face.
- Always use moisturiser or skin lotion before wearing masks. Lotion makes protective layer and prevents abrasions caused by mask cloth.
- If due to our job we have to wear mask for long time, it is advisable to remove it immediately as you reach home and apply ice and wash face with lukewarm water.
- Make sure that fabric of mask should never harsh on the skin.
- It is advisable if possible, do not go with makeup underneath masks. Apply good moisturiser and sunscreen on uncovered part.
- Always wash mask with mild shampoo and not with detergents with fragrance.
In extended pandemic period, we are just confined to our home for next few more weeks. In quarantine time, it has just thrown us in a situation where we can give lot of time to pamper ourself and to work upon our skin health in a smart way.
1)Natural skin toner-
Coriander seeds works magically to hydrate dull skin.
Preparation method: –
Just take half teaspoon of coriander seeds and dip in half cup of water for whole night. In next morning, strain it and use its water to clean up your face.
It is a great skin exfoliator which remove dead cells, rejuvenates the skin in excellence way.
2)RICE WATER–
It is very easy to make and its effects on our skin are long -lasting. It is one of best toner suitable for all skin types and it is used by Japanese beauty to look youthful. It helps to soothes the skin and repair its elasticity.
We can also use it as hair rinse make our hair texture smooth and shiny.
METHOD: –
Soak rice in water for 2 hours and strains it and can fill in spray bottle to store in a refrigerator and you can apply it twice in a day after using regular herbal face wash.
For acne and dark spots: – Mix multani mitti with rice water and add few drops of lemon juice in it. Apply this on acne prone skin for twice a week.
Massage gel: – Mix 1 spoon of aloe vera gel with rice water and apply this gel on your face every day and massage in circular motion for 2 minutes before going to bed. We can wash also but for better result leave it overnight.
3)Green tea ice cubes: –
Green tea is full of anti-oxidants and it prevents our skin damage by sun rays and save us from acne and other skin disorders. It has anti-aging with anti-inflammatory properties helps to make skin glowing, look healthier and younger at the same time.
INGREDIENTS: –
1-2 Green tea bag or some fresh green tea leaves
A cup of Hot water
An ice trays
Brew some fresh green tea bag in a cup of hot water for few minutes. Remove the teabag and cool it down. Pour this green tea water in ice tray and freeze it.
Use- Pop out an ice cube and wrap it in clean cloth and apply all over face with gentle dab underneath eye portion.
Take a chill –pill and just relax and it removes all dust and tiredness from your face.
4)Oats face pack: –
This pack helps in brighten and cleansing of skin and reduces dark spots, tighten the pores and make skin smooth and even also.
Ingredients
1 -2tablespoon of oats
1 tablespoon of tomato pulp
1 tablespoon of yogurt
Preparation: –
- Make a puree out of tomato. Add puree to oats.
- Add 1 teaspoon of curd or yogurt and mix it well, to make it of paste consistency.
- Apply this paste all over face and neck. Leave it for 5-7 minutes.
This pack contains richness of oats, tomatoes, yogurt. Tomato lightens tan, remove dirt from pores and oats is a great exfoliator.

Home remedies are best and affordable way of getting flawless skin and its natural ingredients never harsh on the skin.
Do not forget to cover neck region otherwise it would end up in uneven skin tone.
Always use moisturiser after following any skin care regimen.
According to me this is the best time to catch out for our priorities which we missed out because of busy working office schedule and we can make good use of these days by following self-care routine like yoga, meditation, eating healthy, and by following above mentioned skin care home remedies.
